Bringing Experiment and Simulation Together in Crystal Structure Prediction

From Molecules to Materials: 1st Workshop on Benchmarking Solid State Properties

COST Action BEST-CSP is organising its first workshop in Warsaw: From Molecules to Materials: 1st Workshop on Benchmarking Solid State Properties.

Date: 9 – 11 September 2024
Location: Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw, Warsaw, Poland
Event type: Open to all interested researchers
Early bird registration: 03 June – 26 July 2024, no fee
After 26 July: Registration possible with Committee approval
Poster submission: Deadline: 26 July 2024
Travel reimbursement: Only applications before 15 July

Objectives

The main aim and objective of the Action is to explore the boundaries of accuracy for experimental thermodynamic equilibrium data of organic crystalline polymorphs.

Working Groups

The organisational layout of this Action consists of a Management Committee (MC), which will be represented by a Core Group (CG), coordinating the work carried out in 6 Working Groups.

Open Calls

The Action are active through a range of networking tools, such as workshops, conferences, training schools, short-term scientific missions (STSMs), and dissemination activities.
